In January 2011, Turning Point Partners officially separated into two legal entities: Turning Point Partners Louisiana (which merged with Community Mediation Services) and Turning Point Partners Tennessee. TPP divided into two organizations after hurricane Katrina when one of the co-directors settled in Memphis due to the loss of her home from the storm. The New Orleans site provided support for the fledgling Tennessee program. Today, it is ready to operate independently.
